The bicycle crushed the ‘lotus’ and the ‘hand’ in the lanji by election.Samajwadi Party candidate Kishore Samrite on Saturday defeated the ruling BJP’s Dhareshwari Bhatere by a margin of more than 3500 votes.Samrite polled 28779 votes against Bhatere’s 25045.Congress candidate Bhagwat BHau Nagpure was a distant third with 11438 votes.None of the 18 defeated candidates, except Bhatere ,could secure their deposits.
